Ransomware Protection with VBR v11 Hardened Linux Repository

I'm eagerly anticipating Veeam Backup and Replication v11. Veeam has already shared many of the new features that will make it into the next version; and while Continuous Data Protection (CDP) tends to get most of the attention, I want to take some time to talk about a feature that will help in our fight against ransomware; the Hardened Linux Repository. This is a co-authored post written with my good friend, and Veeam Sr. System Engineer Zane Allyn. I've had the privilege of knowing and working with Zane for many years now and it's a great pleasure to continue to partner with him through our alliance between Pure and Veeam. Head on over to Zane's blog West Coast IT Hipster where you can find the full detailed write-up, and before you leave be sure to also check out his excellent Azure walk-throughs which are especially helpful for those starting to exploring Microsoft's cloud.
